Parish Plans are important for three main reasons. Firstly, they identify issues of importance to our community through the public consultation that goes with the plan. Secondly, they provide the evidence to support applications for public, private and charitable funding to support initiatives or projects identified by groups in the Parish. Thirdly, they provide information for a range of organisations - for example local and regional government, the health service, and other public, private and third sector organisations - about the Parish, the services it needs and the potential for investment as partners in our future.
The plan comprises 2 linked reports:
which goes alongside the Parish Plan
These two reports can be accessed as follows: Paper copies are available through the Public Library in Haydon Bridge. Copies are also be available in .pdf format on this 'Visit Haydon Bridge' website by clicking on the * links
There is also an
which provides the reports from all the local events and meetings that were held to develop the plan, as well as the questionnaire distributed to households in the Parish. Documents in the Evidence Pack are in bracketed numbers e.g. (1) and listed in Appendix 1 of the Parish Plan. They are not available in paper format for cost reasons. However, they are again available in .pdf format from the * Evidence Pack link above.
